The pups are doing well. They are all growing and eating good, and clipping dew claws went well earlier this week! A few cries, but not too bad. They get plenty of attention if you can't tell from the bottom pictures. Bo likes to go out and see them. I left him in the shed when I went to go get water and when I came back in he was in by them. Go figure, he's part monkey combined with a little bit (maybe a lot) of an F-5 tornado. Wherever Bo goes in the house, its pretty easy to find, because he leaves quite the mess behind! I was quite impressed though, I didn't know he could be gentle! Ask his older and younger sister. Not so much gentle in him! He had to give puppies kisses and say "nigh, nigh" So I guess there is some hope for him!! haha. It was pretty cute b/c when I opened the shed door he quickly climbed out of the whelping box as if nothing happened. I told him to go back in there (so I could get pictures) and he gave me a look of disbelief, like are you for real?? He didn't have to think twice about getting in though.

4 days old
Sorry I haven't posted any pictures yet, my daughter was playing in the state AAU volleyball tournament in Marshalltown, IA this weekend. The pups are doing well, and for only being gone a day, they have changed a lot already. They've seemed to almost double in size already, and they scoot around much more already. Tomorrow we plan on clipping their dew claws. Remi is doing a great job of mothering and nursing them. They pretty much eat, sleep, and whine a little bit at this point. I'll keep updating the blog so you can enjoy watching them grow and change before your eyes.

Pups are here!!
After a long wait, the pups are finally here. Remi started about 6 pm tonight and so far she has 8. She was very big, so I'm guessing she has a couple more to go yet. I'll keep you posted with the finally tally.
