Rock Solid Pointing Labs 28 Month Guarantee
Rock Solid Pointing Labs offers a 28 month guarantee of OFA and CERF. This guarantee covers any hereditary genetic disorder that would prevent your pup from being certified by the OFA and/or CERF. In order to be covered by this guarantee all pups must be x-rayed between 24 and 28 months of age and sent in to OFA and examined by a qualified veterinary ophthalmologist between 24 and 28 months of age. The pups must be in the possession of the original owner and cannot be used for stud or breeding purposes prior to OFA and CERF approval or the guarantee is void. All OFA and CERF results must reflect a tattoo or microchip number to be considered valid.
In the event that your dog does not pass the CERF and/or the OFA examination you will be asked to have your dog spay or neutered, and you will be given another pup of similar breeding and equal value from Rock Solid Pointing Labs. The Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) shall be the sole judge regarding hip dysplasia. Only pups diagnosed with mild, moderate are severe dysplasia qualify for replacement. The Canine Eye Registration Foundation (CERF) shall be the sole judge regarding eye defects. Only pups diagnosed with retinal atrophy or retinal dysplasia qualify for replacement. A copy of the findings from OFA and/or CERF must be sent to Rock Solid Pointing Labs along with verification from your veterinarian that the dog has been spay or neutered. This will prevent the problem from being passed on to further generations of the breed. Rock Solid Pointing Labs is not responsible for any vet/medical charges incurred and you the current owner will be responsible for all transportation cost in the event that a replacement dog needs to be shipped.

If any questions concerning vaccinations contact me or my vet. Your vet may have his/her own vaccination schedule this is the procedure my veterinarian uses. The highlighted part is what will be done before the puppies go home. Most puppies go home between 7-8 weeks therefore the 8 weeks shots will not be given. Most people prefer to have the puppies checked out by a home veterinarian and then they can determine what shots they want to give.
