Females

Oakley

Oakley is a 65-70 female out of our Lilly x Ty breeding.  Oakley is a gorgeous black female who has that same great looks as her mother.  She is athletic, intelligent, and loves to please.  She has a great muscular build, boxy head, and we get comments on her looks every where we go.  She is out of our Lilly x Ty breeding, and that's one that has been as consistent as any breeding we've had over the years and is a great mix of American and British lines.   Her pedigree includes: MPR Holzinger's Riley Rue Bolligner MH, CPR Shoal's Creek Stormin Norman, GMPR Cashzingers Brier Tuck MH, GMPR MPR Riks Risky Raider MH, GMPR Grits of Black Forest SH, CPR Minn Horse and Hunt Club Thor, FC AFC Black Gold's Kate Rascal, Ebonstar Lean Mac, FC AFC Thunderhills Black Splash, and many more.  Oakley has spent plenty of time in the upland field and possesses a ton of natural instinct.  She'll work all day long, is great on the retrieve, and has a never quit mentality.   If I had to narrow down her best trait it would be how "natural" she is in the field. She just scratching the surface of her true protentional, and we're extremely excited to get her out on birds again this fall.   The best part about Oakley is that she is an even better family dog.  She loves life on the farm,  loves going on runs, and loves spending time at her lake house in the summer.  Oakley is OFA hips excellent, elbows normal, and eyes normal.

Izzy

Izzy is 55-60 pound female out of one of our best all-time breedings between Maggie x Rico.  She has that same drive and tenacity that her mother does, and a sweet personality to go with it.  When people ask me how I'd describe Izzy, I always respond with "hard-headed, but soft-hearted!"   She's got that same great look her mother did, and is a lighter yellow colored female.  She really is a carbon copy of the what Maggie is, and that's every bit of the reason we chose a pup out of that breeding. Pups from Mags and Rico have consistently had the right look, drive, intelligence, and work ethic!   Some notables in her pedigree include:  Raider's Risky Raider by Holzinger MH, 2001 US Open Champ GMPR MHR Rik's Risky Raider MH,  Holzinger's Risky Business SH, GMHR Ramer's Instant Cash Machine MH, Cashinger's Special Brew MH, 2xNAFC 2xCNAFC FC CFC Ebonstar Lean Mac, GMPR Grits of Black Forest SH, GMPR Wannamaker's Hot Tub SH, GMPR Blackwater Lexus, and many many more!   Izzy is a ball of fire who is always ready to work. She has probably been one of the fastest developing dogs I have ever owned. She was doing things in her first hunting season that I typically see with dogs in their second season. She's got a great nose,  phenomenal athleticism, and covers a lot of ground in a hurry. If you're looking for a "burner" in the upland fields, she's that girl! She spends a ton of time hunting the upland fields of Iowa and South Dakota. She lives to please, and is an all-around great family companion.  Izzy is affectionate, loving, and loyal to a fault!   She brings together the best of both worlds and truly is that dog you can take with you wherever you go. But also that dog that will impress in the upland fields, leaving your buddies asking where you got her from!

Dakota

Dakota is a 65-70 female out of our Lilly x Ty breeding.  You won’t find a better looking black female.  Dakota loves to please!!  She excels in the water, is extremely intelligent, and has a great nose.  She has a great muscular build, boxy head, and we get comments on her looks every where we go.  If you’re reading this description and thinking this sounds a lot like another female you have, you are correct. She’s the younger sister to Oakley (Lilly x Ty) and that breeding  has been as consistent as any breeding we've had over the years. It is a great mix of American and British lines.   Her pedigree includes: MPR Holzinger's Riley Rue Bolligner MH, CPR Shoal's Creek Stormin Norman, GMPR Cashzingers Brier Tuck MH, GMPR MPR Riks Risky Raider MH, GMPR Grits of Black Forest SH, CPR Minn Horse and Hunt Club Thor, FC AFC Black Gold's Kate Rascal, Ebonstar Lean Mac, FC AFC Thunderhills Black Splash, and many more. Dakota will work all day long, is great on the retrieve, and has a never quit mentality.   She has spent plenty of time in the upland field and possesses a ton of natural instinct.  She’s phenomenal in the field, but she’s even a better companion. She’s a house dog that lives to please.  She’s quiet, affectionate, and has the perfect off switch!  Dakota has excellent hips, normal elbows, and normal eyes. She’s clear by parentage on EIC and CNM.

Ivy

Ivy is 65 lb female out of our 4 x GMPR, MH, QA2 Woodrow and Rosie breeding. She is a beautiful chocolate female with a ton of drive, a great look, athleticism, and phenomenal pedigree.  Ivy is equally as good in the house as she is in the field.  Her pedigree includes:  4xGMPR OGF Woodrow MH QA2, FC AFC Wing Magic's Louisiana Roux, GMPR Santa Fe's Contendor MH, 2x NAFC 2xNCAFC FC CFC Ebonstar Lean Mac, 4xGMPR The CPTN's Sierra Shadow Ale QAA MH, 4 x GMPR Cashman's Super Trooper MH, and many many more!!  Ivy is a great blend of pointing and field trial lines and you're looking for that dog with a pedigree that can flat out perform she has it!  Ivy loves the water, and loves to please. When she's not in the field doing what she loves, her second love is being a great family dog. She lives in the house, and spends a lot of her summers at the campground loving life. She is a dog that lives to please, is affectionate, and a lot of fun to be around!

Mags
Mags is 55 pound female out of Remi and Punch.  This has been a breeding that has proven itself time and time again over the years, and I couldn't resist keeping a female out of that pairing. When you think of that dog that has all that drive you want, Mags has it! She is one of the few dogs I know that can match Belle's drive at such a young age!  In her first hunting season (8 months old)  she would match all my seasoned dogs step for step in the field, and at times lead the way!  She is hands down one of the fastest and most athletic dogs I have ever been around!  She is a stunning lighter colored female with darker highlights around the eyes, nose, and ears.  I absolutely love her look!  Her pedigree includes:  GMPR MHR Rik's Risky Raider MH,  GMPR Grits of Black Forest SH, GMPR Spioncop Christos Magic Baker SH, GMPR HIgh Sierra Kociac MH, GMPR PDB Angel's Blackjack Kati, FC AFC Black Gold's Markin Marti, and many more!  She is a great mix of pointing and field trial lines!  Mags is an extremely versatile dog that possesses a great nose, strong natural pointing instinct, and exceptional marking ability.  If I had to pick one trait that sticks out with Maggie it would be her marking ability!  She has an uncanny knack to see where everything lands and once she does she turns on the burners and no one is going to beat her there!   It's not to often you find a dog that has so much drive, but yet is still a great family dogs.  Most days you can find Mags hanging out in the back yard with my kids.  My 3 year old daughter will constantly walk her around on and off the leash. Her favorite thing to do is make Mags lie down, lay in the grass next to her and rub her belly!   Maggie definitely has that same "lover mentality" her momma has, and is always looking for attention.  Mags has spent a majority of her time in the upland fields of Iowa and South Dakota. She also has experience as a waterfowl dog and is great in the water.  In the springtime she spends time hiking with me through the woods looking for shed antlers.  She is that dog that you love to have around in every season because she is so versatile, but even more importantly she loves to please no matter what she's doing! Mags is EIC/CNM clear by parentage.

Rosie is a 70 pound female out of exceptional bloodlines.  She's the perfect mix of field trial and pointing lines. She has that perfect black coat, confirmation, and and all the athleticism to go with the looks. People comment on her looks everywhere we go.   Her pedigree includes:  4xGMPR The Cptn's Sierra Shadow Ale QAA MH, 4xGMPR Cashman’s Super Trooper MH, GMPR Duke’s True Grit SH, GMPR Pathfinder’s Jayhawk Roxy, GMPR Grits of Black Forest SH APLA Hall of Fame,  GMPR MHR Rik’s Risky Raider MH (HOF) 2001 US Open Champ, FC Nan-Dool Elwood Blues,3xGRHRCH UH Dakota’s Cajun Roux MH, HRCH Highpoint’s Tiger’s Tearin Em Up MH, 13xGRHRCH Missy’s Cajun Dakota MH UKC Hall of Fame, and NFC AFC Storm’s  Riptide Star just to name a few. Rosie has spent a ton of time in the upland field in her first two hunting seasons.  It doesn't matter if we're hunting in Iowa or South Dakota, she's always ready to go.   She's got a great natural point, phenomenal nose, and a big motor. She's the type of dog that can cover a ton of ground in a short period of time.  If I had to pinpoint her best attribute it would have to be her nose. She has a keen sense of smell, and always has her nose to ground.

Outside of hunting she is the type of
dog you can take with you anywhere.  She loves going for rides in the work truck especially to the farm and can usually be seen getting a better view sitting on top of the tool box.  She loves to please and loves to be loved, and Rosie knows how to settle in after a hard days work.  Rosie is EIC/CNM clear and comes with all the health clearances.
Huxley

Huxley is a 55-60 pound female out of Hazel.  Hazel is one our retired females that consistently produce pups with the perfect look, drive, and temperament.
We're excited to add Huxley to the short list of names of females who made the "cut" for Ro
ck Solid Pointing Labs.  Huxley is intelligent, energetic, and acquired that Rock Solid look.   Here pedigree includes: GMPR Cashmans Super Trooper MH, CPR Shoal Creeks Stormin Norman MH QAA, GMPR Dukes True Grit SH, GMPR Rik's Risky Raider MH,  GMPR Grits of Black Forest SH, GMPR Kroeger's Snappin Gator MH,  4xGMPR Zig Zag's Jipseys Blackmagick MH MNH, and many more.   Like her momma Hazel loves to please. She's an all around great family dog.  She's the type you can with you anywhere.  She possesses a keen nose, and a strong natural point. Whether it's roosters in the fall, or rabbits in the back yard, she's always locked in!  Huxley is OFA Hips Excellent, Elbows Normal, and Eyes Normal.  We're excited to have her carry on that same great tradition her mother did of producing high end labs with the right look, temperament, and drive!

Lilly

Lilly is  a 55-60 pound female out of my very last "Belle" litter.  She is an athletic freak of nature, and possesses that same look Belle had.  I knew with Belle's last litter I wanted something as similar as possible to those traits Belle possessed and she has "it"!  The same gorgeous look, athleticism, hard nosed, and will go all day long!  Lilly's pedigree is also quite impressive. Some notables include:  GMPR MHR Rik's Risky Raider MH, GMPR Grits of Black Forest SH, GMPR, High Sierra Kodi MH, GMPR Blackwater Lexus, GMPR Wannamakers Hot Tubb SH, and Minn Horse and Hunt Club Thor MH to name a few.  These are some of the top bloodlines in the pointing and hunt test world!  Lilly is a multi-dimensional dog who gives me whatever I need whenever I want it!   She can sit out on the water or in the field all day and retrieve ducks,  she can bust through the thickest of pheasant cover day in and day out, or she can settle in by my feet at the end of a long day.  I just love how diverse she is!  She gives me everything I need in one dog.  She can hunt waterfowl, pheasant, and sheds with the best of them!  Lilly has a BIG BIG motor, but she has an even BIGGER heart and that's what I love most about her!   She lives to please, and is type of dog that gives dogs the reputation of  "man's best friend".  She loves to go wherever I go whether that's bird hunting for the day, hiking through the woods looking for deer sheds, or hopping in the backseat to run some errands!  Lilly has an overall great nose, strong marking ability, desire to retrieve, and absolutely loves water!   She is the type of dog that is always eager to learn, eager to work, and eager to please! She spends a ton of time in the field every year hunting upland in the Dakotas and Iowa, and water-fowling the "Flyway Highway".   Lilly is EIC/CNM clear by parentage, and her OFA and CERF results are to be determined. Lilly turns two in March of 2016  look for a litter late spring 2016!

Remi (Retired)
Remi is a 50-55 pound female out of Belle. She is an extremely muscular dog and definately has that Raider/Forest front end.  She is very proportional and constantly gets comments on her great looks!  Her lineage includes GMPR MH Spioncop Christos Magic Baker, GMPR MH Grits of Black Forest, and GMPR MH Rik's Risky Raider just to name a few.  She comes from some of the top lines in the country and her looks and abilities show it!  She is an extremely birdy and extremely stylish hunter.  She has a solid point, and her marking ability is second to none.  As a young pup she would watch as I trained Belle with water and land retrieves and you could see with every throw she knew exactly where the dummy/bird was!  Her strongest attribute is her intelligence. I am often times amazed at how quickly she picks up on things.  She is one of those dogs that sees something once, remembers its, and then knows exactly what to do from there on out!  This has been a common trait that Belle and Baker have passed on to their pups.  She is very stealthy in the field using her intelligence to weave in and out of the thickest of cover with the slightest of easy.  Her mother was always one to barrel through 100 mph, and Remi is definately more of a finesse dog.  She'll still go through whatever obstacle is in her way, she just does so in a way that is less punishing on the body.   She loves to retrieve and just like her mother will go strong all day long.  This is a quality that you find with most labs, but people are often times amazed at how many times they will keep retrieving the dummy!  If you don't put it away, their going to keep bringing it back.  She has a very solid nose, and is extremely fun to watch when she gets wind of the birds.  Remi will wind a bird from 30-40 yards away in the right conditions and make a straight line for it with pin point accuracy.   Remi has had a lot of exposure to birds in her young career spending 3-4 days a week out in the field. She has spent time in South Dakota, North Dakota, and Iowa hunting primarily pheasant and waterfowl.  Her marking, retrieving, and obedience translate into a great waterfowl dog.  She can definately  keep up with dogs that have way more experience that her hunting over water.  She too gives me the best of both worlds.  By day she is a hunting and retrieving machine, but by night she can come in the house and settle in with family. She loves attention and will go from person to person looking for a little love. I am expecting an early spring 2016 litter!

Hazel (Retired)

Hazel is a 55 pound female out of Belle and Lotto.  She is an extremely athletic and talented female that possesses all the right look.  Her pedigree includes  GMPR Grits of Black Forest MH, and GMPR MHR Rik's Risky Raider MH,  4xGMPR Kroeger's Snapping Gator MH, GMPR Wannamaker's Hot Tubb SH, GMPR Jipsey's Black Magic MH,  and GMPR HPK Shooter's Baxter Bing JH,  CPR Minnesota Horse and Hunt Club Thor, and much much more!   You won't find a better looking black female with this kind of pedigree!

Hazel on point

Hazel is an all around great dog that loves to please!  She is extremely intelligent,  possesses an outstanding nose, and has shown a strong natural point from the very beginning.  She is the type of dog that you can take out all day long, but will settle in and relax with the family at the end of the day.   She is an exceptional companion and all around great family dog.  Hazel EIC and CNM clear by parentage and will come with all the health clearances (hips, elbows, and eyes).  OFA results will be coming soon.  She is yellow factored female, and we are planning a yellow and black litter early spring 2016.

Belle:Retired

Belle is a 50-55 pound female out of Raider and Grits of Black Forest lines. She is pure muscle and it shows out in the field! She has a never quit mentality and hunts strong all day long! Her marking and retrieving ability is second to none, and also quarters very well and covers a lot of ground in a hurry. She was first introduced to birds at a young age, and since then has hunted 3-4 days per week during the hunting season, mainly pheasant, and has developed into a national qualifier for PHU(Pheasant Hunters Unlimited) and also won the Okoboji Bird Dog challenge at only 2 years of age. Belle can compete with some of the finest dogs in the country when it comes to upland game! She competed in last year's PHU National Championship and placed in the top 20 at nationals and in the top 15 in the final standings. She has gone on to qualify again this year for the PHU nationals. She also qualified for the NBDC Nationals(National Bird Dog Challenge as seen on the outdoor channel) this past March and the World BDC Championship that took place early this fall. I did not run her in the BDC events because she was expecting a litter of pups. Belle has competed with some of the dogs that placed very well at the BDC National and World Championships in PHU competitions and has consistently contended with and/or placed higher than. She gives me the best of both worlds being a solid pointer when the birds hold tight, yet is not afraid to flush a bird on the move. She is extremely intelligent and I pride myself in knowing that she has been trained personally by myself. From the day she came home with me she has lived to please me and retrieve. Whether it be a bird, bumper/dummy, tennis ball, or anything she can get her mouth around, she has never given up on a retrieve even at a very young age. People are amazed at the speed and tenacity she shows in the field, but she is also very calm around my kids and in the house. She knows that when its time to come in the house its time to settle down. She sleeps with my 12 year old son every night, and she even has her own blanky that she drags around the house and to bed every night. She is truly the perfect dog giving me everything I ask for in the field and knowing when to tone it down around children and in the house! Belle lives to hunt, lives to please, and is what I consider a best friend!
