Day at the Pond

Holly
Today it got to a record high of 99 degrees so we took the pups to the pond for a little swim. Belle, Remi, Holly, and Uncle Allen's male enjoyed their time cooling off and playing. The pups didn't swim, but they enjoyed a change of scenery. The final 2 pups will make their way home in the next week or so. Holly is flying to Sacramento, CA and the other male will go and live in North Dakota with my wife's uncle Allen.

The time has come!!

It's hard to imagine that tomorrow pups will start going home. The time has flown by and its been a lot of fun. I'm ready for them to start finding their new homes, but they will be missed.  This morning when I was out before work, I got out the pheasant wings and I saw a lot of flash points.  They are really coming along and are great looking pups. I hate to say it (as partial as I've been to my Belle x Baker litters over the years) but these pups are even better looking.  I'm excited to meet all the new families. I know it's been a long wait, but hopefully through the posts and the pictures I've helped make that 8-15 week wait less unbearable.  Some of you have had deposits in since the first confirmation of the breeding, and have been waiting 15 weeks now. Thanks to all, and I'm sure the pups are excited to get to their new homes.  (Plenty of fun new things to chew on, shoestrings to grab, kids to chase, etc....)
