I know it's been a long wait for the Johnson family to get their newest addition to the family, but come Saturday afternoon the wait will finally be worth it. Between 24 inches of snow in the Boston area, and negative 50 degree below zero wind-chills in Iowa getting her to her new home in a timely manner has been quite a challenge this last week and a half! With all that said she has been in great hands, and the kids enjoy the times where I take her in the house to play as you can see from the pictures below! Hopefully if the weather cooperates this time around (which according to the forecast will...) she'll be home by Saturday. Talking with Ryan via text tonight, the reality of getting a new pup is starting to sink in and the 1000's of possible names are circulating through your families mind. I like them all, but she kind of looks like a "Willow". When I took her in after talking with Ryan I studied her for a while, and that name just kind of seemed to fit. I guess we'll see on Saturday if you get the same vibe or go a completely different route. By the way, Willow means resilient, slender, and full of grace which in my mind sums this little girl up pretty well!
