The pups are finally here! I know it's been a long wait for some of you, but the wait is finally over and the exciting part is finally here. There is still 7 weeks to wait, but this part of it all seems to fly by. The fun part is finally here and now you get to watch them grow! Puppies arrived yesterday around 12:30pm (1st) and Belle was done around 4:00 pm. It was a short labor and everything went very well. The puppies and Belle are healthy and that's all that matters. There are 3 males and 3 females.
Rock Solid Pointing Labs began in 2004 when we purchased our first pointing lab. Back then we did not know how one dog could have such a powerful impact on our lives. Belle is solely responsible for our love and passion for hunting, for our love and passion for the outdoors, and our love and passion producing high end labradors. Our goal is to pass on this love and passion for generations to come. For more information contact: jjfranken@premieronline.net

with a ton of drive and also a companion that you and your family can take
wherever you go. Puppies will come with all the health clearances EIC/CNM clear
and also a 28 month guarantee on hips, elbows, and eyes. Some notables in the pedigree include: 28

Pedigree includes some of the most sought after pointing lines in the country
(GMPR MPR Rik's Risky Raider MH, GMPR Grits of Black Forest SH, GMPR PDB
Angel's Blackjack Kate JH, GMPR High Sierra Kodi MH, GMPR Sir's Mighty Eli SH,
GMPR Blackwater Lexus (45 all age pts and 19 derby pts), GMPR Wannamaker's Hot
Tubb SH, Minn Horse and Hunt Club Thor MH)
Punch is APLA Certified Pointing Retriever (CPR) that spends
a ton of time in the field. He is used as a professional guide for Pheasant
Crest Lodge near Kimball, SD where he gets a ton of bird exposure. They hunt
hard 5 days a week from the beginning of October thru December. He literally
sees thousands of birds every year. Punch is the perfect combination of looks,
trainability, and drive. He has a ton of point and can go strong all day long.
Punch is a 65 pound powerhouse that is lean, muscular, and has a nice broad
chest and boxy head. When all the other dogs are starting to wear out after a
long day in the field, Punch is still going strong. Punch has a great mix of
APLA, AKC, and Field Trial dogs in his background. He comes with all the health
clearances EIC/CNM clear, Hips-Excellent, and Elbows/Eyes- Normal.
Belle is a 50-55 pound female out of GMPR MHR Rik's Risky
Raider MH and GMPR Grits of Black Forest MH lines. She is pure muscle and it
shows out in the field! She has a never quit mentality and hunts strong all day
long! Her marking and retrieving ability is second to none, and also quarters
very well covering a lot of ground in a hurry. She was first introduced to
birds at a young age, and since then has hunted 3-4 days per week during the
hunting season, mainly pheasant, and has developed into a national qualifier
for PHU(Pheasant Hunters Unlimited) and also won the Okoboji Bird Dog challenge
at only 2 years of age. Belle can compete with some of the finest dogs in the
country when it comes to upland game! In the past she competed in the PHU
National Championship and placed in the top 20 at nationals and in the top 15
in the final standings. She went on to qualify many times for the PHU and NBDC
Nationals(National Bird Dog Challenge as seen on the outdoor channel) and also
the World BDC Championships. Belle has competed with dogs that have placed very
well at the BDC National and World Championships in PHU competitions and has
consistently contended with and/or placed higher than. She gives me the best of
both worlds being a solid pointer when the birds hold tight, yet is not afraid
to flush a bird on the move. She is extremely intelligent and I pride myself in
knowing that she has been trained personally by myself. From the day she came
home with me she has lived to please me and retrieve. Whether it be a bird,
bumper/dummy, tennis ball, or anything she can get her mouth around, she has
never given up on a retrieve even from a very young age. People are amazed at
the speed and tenacity she shows in the field, but she is also very calm around
my kids and in the house. She knows that when it's time to come in the house,
it's time to settle down. Belle is truly is the perfect family gun dog giving
me everything I ask for in the field and knowing when to tone it down around
children and in the house! Belle lives to hunt, lives to please, and is what I
consider a best friend!
