Niah
Niah is an APLA CPR (Certified Pointing Retriever) and has all the looks and drive you are looking for in a Pointing Labrador.  He carries Super Trooper's features in his blocky looks, 75 lb.muscular frame, black pigment, athletic ability, and strong desire to train and hunt.  He has exceptional marking and retrieving ability and displays one of the strongest natural points you will find.  If the bird sits, he will point it!  He has a calm, kid-friendly temperament, yet when it’s time to train or hunt he has a high output motor.  Niah was pointing at a very young age and was the quickest learner I have ever trained.  He has a strong desire to please and is crazy about finding, pointing, and retrieving birds.  Niah's pedigree features some of the best lines in the country  and you can see those bloodlines in his looks and personality.  When it comes to true Labrador looks, strong staunch point, and all around hunting and training ability, Niah is the total package!

One Final Goodbye!

Last night we said goodbye to Chase, our final pup for the last time.  The kids took him in the house and played with him for a while before bed, and it's safe to say they've enjoyed his company the last week. We're going to miss our daily "Chase Time" in the house!   Ryan came this morning to pick him up, and after all the pups have gone home it's safe to say they've all found great homes once again.  Many have made long road trips over the past week, and we're excited to watch them grown in their new families.  It always amazes me how these pups always seem to find great homes!   This litter has been especially fun, and I'm not sure why? I think part of it is the ages of the kids and watching their interaction with them.  The kids have taken so much ownership in this process, and it's been fun see how they've become so attached in just a couple months time. Last night as we were saying goodbye Kinley said to me, "I miss Skye!"   The others have also expressed some of those same thoughts and feelings over the past week. As soon as Chase went home they asked, "when will we have puppies again?"   The thing that I am most thankful for in all of this is the life lessons it has taught my children.  It's funny to think about, but a dog is so much more than a dog! They teach us valuable life lessons that are irreplaceable.    A dog teaches us responsibility, patience, love, kindness, and most importantly loyalty.  There are few bonds in this world as strong as the bond between man and dog.   In return, those lessons are ones that we can apply to our daily lives.  One final thought on this last post from the Remi x Punch breeding of 2016 is a popular quote about dogs.   "A dog is the only thing on this earth that loves you more than he loves himself!"  It reminds me of a bible verse from Phillipians 2:3:  "Do nothing out of selfish ambition, or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves!"  Those are words we should learn to live by!
