The pups are getting along great. Sorry its been so long since the last post. I had some nice pics of them outside, but they got deleted from the camera before I got them uploaded. Their eyes are all open and they are all walking around and sitting up. This week looks like it will be pretty nice, so they will get plenty of time outside! They are getting cuter by the day, and it seems like everyday someone (nieces and nephews) comes to hold the puppies and play with them.

More updates
2 males
2 females
Male
5 females
The puppies are doing very well. Some of them as you can see from the second picture are getting very close to having their eyes open. They are starting to wobble around on all fours and stand up a little bit as opposed to just scooting on their tummies. Tomorrow I'll give them their first round of dewormer orally. In another week all of their eyes will be open, and they will be moving around much better. As you can see from the pictures Gracyn's wishes are finally coming true and they are big enough to for her to hold. Maddy is old enough that she's been holding them plenty already, but Gracyn not so much! She does well with them. I just need to remind her that when she is done hold them to set them down gently!

Puppy Pic
Not much new and exciting with the pups, They continue to grow and sleep that is about it. Gracyn did finally get to hold one with dad's help and she was pretty happy about that. They have had plenty of love from Gracie already. She pretty much wants to go out there whenever I am home. She said she likes the black ones and the yellow ones so it looks like they are all equally loved. Looks like they themselves are partial to color from the pic below the black pups were on one end and the yellow on the other, but a little while later they mixing it up again.

5 days old
This stage is pretty uneventful for the puppies. Eat, sleep, grow, eat, sleep, and grow. They are growing well. Probably tripled in size by now, but its hard to tell by the pictures. Tonight we clipped the dews, so there was a little whining, but in a matter of a few seconds they were back in their whelping box comfortable and sleeping again! Gracyn keeps asking me when she can hold them?? I keep stalling, but before long she'll be dragging them all over the yard, and a little while after that they'll be trying to drag her around the yard by her shirt, pants, shoestrings, and anything else they can get ahold of!

Pups Born April 9, 2012
Ten healthy puppies born April 9, 2012. Belle gave birth early Monday morning to 10 healthy puppies. 2 yellow females, 2 yellow males, 5 black females, and 1 black male. They are all growing well, and Belle is doing great. I think she is relieved that she isn't carrying around all that extra weight.
By mid afternoon, she was chasing the dummy around like nothing ever happened. It always amazes me how quickly she bounces back from delivery. She is quite the mother that's for sure! Thanks to all who have committed to a pup, and I know for some it has been a long anticipated wait.
They are finally here, and I hope to update the website frequently so that you can watch them grow. Hopefully it will help the next 7-8 weeks pass more quickly. I know for everyone it probably seems like forever, but on this end the time flies by.
The time will pass quickly and I look forward to meeting all of you and the pups will very well socialized. My kids are spending a lot of time out there already. Especially my 2.5 year old daughter Gracie. She keeps asking when she can hold the puppies, and keeps saying, "I can hold the puppies next week dad, right?"
