Rock Solid Pointing Labs began in 2004 when we purchased our first pointing lab. Back then we did not know how one dog could have such a powerful impact on our lives. Belle is solely responsible for our love and passion for hunting, for our love and passion for the outdoors, and our love and passion producing high end labradors. Our goal is to pass on this love and passion for generations to come. For more information contact: jjfranken@premieronline.net

Puppy Updates
I was out for a while with the puppies tonight along with Boden and Gracyn. They wanted to hold the puppies, so I thought it would be a good opportunity to get some good photos. I've bee neglecting my duties of updating the website, but the last week has been crazy. Last week Tuesday and Thursday parent teacher conferences until 8:30, left for Pierre, SD on our hunting trip early Friday morning, and returned home Sunday night to sick kids. The flu made it's round through the house and I was home Monday morning and today with the "sickies". As you can tell from the pictures they are starting to perk up a little bit. The puppies are doing great, and growing well as expected. I clipped dew claws tonight, and they didn't like that so well! The trauma is over, and in a matter of minutes they were sleeping peacefully on a fresh bed of carpet! I'll try get more pictures in a couple days, but at this stage there aren't any significant changes. In another week or so they will be starting to open their eyes and wiggle around more so that will be more fun. Hope you enjoy the overdue pictures!

Belle x Tyke Puppy Updates
Here's just a couple fun pictures I was sent of two of my females. The top picture is of one that went to Devil's Lake, ND. I was able to get this little girl a ride in a "big rig" and she enjoyed watching out the window. She never whined, never peed, and the ride went smooth. The picture below is one that went to Kennebec, SD. Steve Halverson, who purchased her, runs a guiding operation in SD. This is a picture of Steve going through the days routine with the hunters, and she is all attentive. Looks like she's ready to go!

The puppies are doing great. Both males went home yesterday so we're down to all females. I've been trying all week to get pictures posted, but getting a decent shot anymore is nearly impossible. All they want to do is run when I let them outside. The only way I can get a good photo is if someone is holding them.
