Day 12

Kinley-2, Madison-14, Gracyn-5
Aren't they beautiful? The puppies too,  but I gotta love my 3 beautiful daughters!   The one in the middle is the only one I have to worry about at this point being 14!  We took some of the puppies in the house for the first time. The kids were pretty excited about that, I was surprised Madison didn't ask if she could sleep with one tonight.  The puppies are doing great, and growing fast.  It's hard to imagine that they're nearly 2 weeks old. Some of them are starting to scoot around more on all fours.  They're a bit wobbly, but its fun to watch. I expect their eyes to be opening in the next week, and them to start getting more active!

They had to throw a goofy one in!

Day 8

Gracyn, Kinley, and Boden are loving on the puppies. As you can see they still can't get enough.   The little guy in the middle is quite the "cheeser"  I've figured out with him its better to snap the photo when he's not paying attention versus saying "Boden, smile I'm going to take a picture."  The pictures pretty much summarize our life!  There is definitely never a dull moment at our house.   That's quite alright.... God has blessed us very much!

Day 4

As you can see the pups are pretty cozy!   Life is good for a puppy. Eat, sleep, and then eat some more.  We clipped dew claws tonight but that didn't cause to much trouble.   I had my 3 (ages 2,3, and 5) youngest kids in helping me if you call that helping.   It was pretty cute though every time Gracyn would hand me a puppy they would put their heads behind the coats so they didn't have to hear the puppies cry.  The biggest cry of the night came from K.K. (our 2 year old) as she leaned up against the door, and Boden (our 3 year old) opened it and she fell on her face in the snow.   Other than that everything went well....haha   As you can see the puppies love to snuggle up next to each other.   I doesn't really matter if their lined up neatly, all in a pile, or ones got their butt on top of their siblings head, they just like to snuggle up!  Remi is doing great.  She keeps a watchful  eye over her little ones, but always amazes me at how gentle-natured she is.  The kids can practically lay on her when she's feeding, or sit and pet her puppies and she never gets upset with them.

Day 1

Here are a few pictures from today. I took them with my phone so quality isn't the best so I'll try get more in the next day or so.  All 10 are doing great!  As you can see Boden and Gracyn can't quite get enough of them.  If I had a dollar for every time they asked to go see the baby puppies I'd be a rich man.  Gracyn is starting to come up with names, half of which I can't remember, and the other half are pretty funny.  You can tell she's a school girl now because she had a pretty nice rhyming sequence of classic names like: "Tom, Juam, Som, Dom Juan, etc" haha.  Elsa, Anna, Prince Hans and Christoff were some of her favorites along with Snowflake for the littlest girl.

New Puppies

Early this afternoon the first of Remi's puppies arrived.  We've been anxiously awaiting their arrival now for some time, and its always a great feeling to have them safe and on the ground.  Rems gave birth to 10 healthy puppies 5 females and 5 males.  The pups and mama are doing great.  They are all nursing good and their tummies are getting full.  Remi is a little wore out as you can imagine, but the first thing she did when I let her out this evening was find the dummy in laying in the yard brought it to me and looked at me like, "aren't you gonna throw it?"  Still enough energy for a couple of throws.  I'm sure she would have went longer, but she's had a long day and I didn't want to overdo it.  I'll get some more pics posted these next few days, but I figured a lot of you that have been waiting months now would be anxious to see them!
