Welcome Puppies!

Remi started into labor early yesterday morning. After frequent checks to the shed at all hours of the night, I was sure it was finally going to happen yesterday!  About the time I walked in the house from school the kids greeted me with excitement that the first puppy was born!   The first puppy was a male and was born at about 3:20 pm, and the last puppy born was also a male and was born around 11:00 pm.  After a long wait, we finally welcome nine healthy puppies (5 females and 4 males).  They have already had lots of visitors in their young life, and we anticipate many more over the next 7-8 weeks.   Remi and the pups are all doing very well.
