Growing Like Crazy
This week we started the puppies on solid/soft food. We were gone for the weekend and our wonderful puppy-sitters did a super job loving and caring for them like we do! We were gone for less than 48 hours, but the kids were sure that they could tell they grew while we were gone:) We have had 7-10 days of cold and rain here in Iowa, but last night the sun came out and it was finally warm enough to let the puppies out to play again. They loved their freedom and explored further and further as the night went along. This week is supposed to be really nice, so we hope they can get out more this week. This is one the things that I appreciate most about being a family/small breeder. I can't imagine these puppies being contained to their whelping box for 6-8 weeks and not having the freedom to run and play outside several times each day!
